The story takes a dark turn as the Perrons begin to experience inexplicable and terrifying occurrences at their new home in Enfield, London. It's here that they cross paths with paranormal investigators Ed (Patrick Wilson) and Lorraine Warren (Vera Farmiga), who have been called in to help the family. What ensues is a descent into chaos as the Warrens soon realize that the source of the haunting is a malevolent entity known as the Enfield Poltergeist.
