Mortal Kombat Deception takes place after the events of Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance. The game follows the story of Shujinko, a young warrior on a quest to find and defeat the evil sorcerer, Shang Tsung. The gameplay features a new "Konquest" mode, which allows players to explore and interact with the game's environments, as well as engage in combat with enemies.
