The story begins with Tidus, a young athlete from the city of Zanarkand, who finds himself transported to the tropical paradise of Spira. There, he meets a summoner named Yuna, who is on a pilgrimage to defeat the monstrous entity known as Sin. As Tidus joins Yuna on her quest, they are joined by a group of allies, including the skilled warrior Auron, the energetic Lulu, and the enigmatic Rikku.
