As the investigation unfolds, Vijay's associate, Raja (played by Akshay Kumar), and a new police officer, Neelam (played by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan), join the team. Together, they get closer to solving the mystery, but things become complicated when personal interests and loyalty come into play.
